This Labor Day weekend was just gorgeous. The weather was beautiful and poetic justice after all the rain we had earlier this month. A new visitor came for the weekend, Chooch the pug. He came with his own personalized overnight bag for his food, goodies and favorite toys.
Chooch's Mom Nicole told me he was a good dog that would walk off leash, be nice to the cats and everyone else but he mostly wanted to just be looked after. She was right! Chooch was all that and more. Chooch was my virtual shadow. He followed me around the house, slept at my feet or in bed when he could. I think he would have taken a shower with me had I invited him in!
I didn't believe I could walk Chooch off leash but after a couple days, I could see that he would stay close. He walked around to visit the neighbors with me. Each and every one of them was taken with him. It was no wonder how his sweet little face could melt everyone's heart.
Chooch was here for 5 days and they flew by. Even Annie seems sad to see her friend left tonight. He was a delight, just like you said Nicole. Come on back soon! He is always welcome!
