Sammy the Pomeranian, What A Joy!

What a delight my recent overnight visitor was. Sammy, the Pomeranian puppy, came to visit the other weekend as summer transitioned into fall. This sweet little boy weighs a whole 7 pounds but is so full of love he could fill a room with his presence.

Sam's Mom and Dad will be going to Ireland in a few weeks to tie the knot. Sammy won't be able to be the ring bearer so he gets to stay at home with me and the kitties. Speaking of kitties, he is the first puppy not to chase the cats. Annie Kitty felt brave and came to say hello. Sammy began to back up as she approached with great respect. That sure made some points with Annie who thinks dogs that respect her space and don't chase her are really the cat's meow.

Sammy was a perfect gentlemen, too, during his visit. He got an "A" when it came to potty training! Way to go Nollaig & Kohl, Sammy was everything you said about him and more. What a keeper his is! Hope he comes back soon!

Sammy and I went to help my friend with her super gigantic garage sale. He got to stay inside while we worked. I guess that is why they call it a "dog's life!" He did great in the car as he straddled over the console to be close to me. Talk about a dog, stealing your heart! Yup! Sammy sure did!

So, I guess it won't be long before he comes for a visit again. I am surely looking forward to it. And I think Annie is, too! Yes, Sammy, is a joy! Come on back, Sammy!
