Cats and Dogs

Well, let it not be said that cats and dogs don't get along! Arranged on this photo, left to right, are Chooch and Bella, the pugs, Kirby, the Schnoodle, and Annie Kitty curled up in the far right corner. All of them hanging out together not knowing they are supposed to be doing anything else but that!

Maggie, Kirby, Chooch & Bella

It was a busy weekend with lots of fur children visiting. Zuzu and Maggie came just for overnights. They hung out with the crew, Kirby, Chooch and Bella, and you can see by the end of the night, they all cuddled together on the couch, counting dog biscuits one by one until they fell asleep. I think they were dreaming about playing fetch and sniffing for bunnies, but in truth I only know they snored quite loudly and never knew what they dreamt about. Maggie managed to cuddle up into the group, enjoying the group spirit, body warmth and the soft cushy couch with them!

Chooch & Bella, Pugs Rule!

Guess who's back?? Woo Hoo! Chooch, my favorite pug, came for a visit. His Mom and Dad went to Ireland for a trip. Guess who came with him? His new sister, Bella! Yup! Bella and Chooch are now a duo. So now, I have 2 favorite pugs!

Chooch chose Bella from a rescue in WI. At first,he wasn't so sure she wasn't going to cramp his style. But he has now figured out there is plenty of love out there to share so he even shares his humans with her. Plus he lets her sleep with him, so he is coming around!

Chooch has been visiting all the neighbors and introducing Bella to them. The two have been making the rounds and charming everyone!

Zuzu The Papillon, A True Butterfly!

What a great little gal, Zuzu is! This 14 year old is a little doll. Just like her breed, this Papillon is truly as transforming as the butterfly her breed is named for. Rescued at the age of 7, she picked a great and loving family to take her in. That is when her luck changed and she began to let her wings unfold and get the love she deserved. And of course, she gives back plenty of it herself.

Happy to be around humans and just hang out, Zuzu was a great visitor. She only got to come overnight, but perhaps she will come and visit again, soon! Happy to have you!

Kirby

Kirby is a sweet little guy rescued from the Anti Cruelty. He is a blend of Poodle and Schnauzer, Schnoodle, with the best attributes of each of his parents. Kirby is smart, spirited and gentle. Considering Kirby has not met a cat before you can see how sweet his disposition is as he slept nose to nose next to Annie.

He has gone to puppy training and will be taking his graduate courses soon for further refinements. He is a quick learner and has done great in his studies so far. He gets an A+ in potty training, squirrel chasing and chew toys.

Dustin

Dustin came to visit when his Mom was down in Florida. He came along with his suitcases still packed from California where he came from. His parents were poodle and pomeranian so Dustin got the best of both worlds, super smart and very cute! He enjoyed visiting with Annie Kitty and she liked him a lot, too! He really enjoyed playing with the toys, choosing each one and leaving them around the house for his pleasure!

Easter Bunny Identity Theft

Sully The Easter Bulldog

Sully came for Easter along with the Easter Bunny. She let her family go off to California and she packed up to stay with me while they were gone. There are a million things you can say about Sully but I think her most outstanding quality was her joy. She was just one happy dog that wanted to share that feeling with everyone she met. Sully wiggled and waggled at everyone she saw, rolling over and just asking for a belly rub. She was totally content to just hang out being as that is what humans do and Sully thinks she is more a human than a dog.

A good natured, nicely mannered gal, even Annie Kitty was pleased to make her aquaintance. The neighbors and I miss you Sully, come back anytime! The welcome mat is waiting for you!

Easter Bunny Humor

A lady opened her refrigerator
and saw a rabbit sitting on one of the shelves.
"What are you doing in there?"
She asked.

The rabbit replied:
"This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?",
To which the lady replied
"Yes."
"Well," the rabbit said,

"I'm westing."

Sorry... I couldn't stop myself.
Have a Wonderful Easter...

Bravo to Yanni Voices!!

Okay, this is a little off track of cats, dogs and the environment, but I still must share this with you. I recently got the new CD/DVD of Yanni Voices. What a great surprise this was to me. I was expecting the tour CD to include the New Age soloist Yanni. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that Voices includes 4 wonderful singers who added lyrics to the depth of Yanni's work. The result is just spectacular. Not only is the work rich with Yanni's instrumental but it is further enhanced with Nathan Pacheco, Leslie Mills, Chloe and Ender Thomas.

This shift in Yanni is just taking him to the next level and he reinvents himself with Voices. It is a great sound and I highly recommend it!

Oskar The Girl Kitty

Oskar is a girl kitty with a sweet disposition although she does let you know from time to time that she still has some cat in her. Oskar sits at the back door hoping for a little fun in the spring sun while her Mom and Dad are away. She has no idea that it is snowing today in April. Sorry Oskar, even though the crocuses are begining to bloo, it is still winter out there and you have to wait to frolick in the yard!
